Brioche Agate is a brown, tan and white agate that has brecciated patterns and subtle banding. Agate is a variety of chalcedony formed from layers of quartz which usually show varicolored bands. It usually occurs as rounded nodules or veins. Metaphysically it is a very good protective stone, especially children. Mined in Africa.
